Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations for a retail and pharmacy location. You will supervise opening/closing, scheduling, staffing, merchandising and financial controls to protect assets and maximize sales.

You will coach team members to deliver exceptional customer and patient experiences, handle escalations, and ensure compliance with policies, laws, and safety standards while driving performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or high school diploma/GED with 5 years retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations, including scheduling, task delegation and staffing.
• Drive customer experience through training, coaching and proactive service delivery.
• Monitor store performance, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing and promotions to optimize sales and reduce loss.
• Lead hiring, promotions and performance management to build a capable team.
