Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a Walgreen store and its pharmacy. You will lead a team, drive sales, protect assets, and deliver an exceptional customer and patient experience.

You will supervise staffing, merchandising, inventory, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant or licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of the store and pharmacy, including opening/closing/shifts, task delegation and scheduling.
• Monitor and improve customer service, greet customers and clinic patients, and respond to special needs or complaints.
• Analyze financial and performance data; develop action plans to increase sales and control costs.
• Identify sales opportunities and manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and store procedures; manage training and development of team members.
