Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a Walgreen store, including the pharmacy, merchandising, staffing, and customer experience. You will drive sales, protect assets, and lead team development to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer and patient journey.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail management experience, pharmacy technician registration if applicable, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant retail management experience
• Licensed pharmacy technician registration/licensure required by state, or willing to obtain
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations, staff scheduling, and task delegation
• Monitor customer service and train team to deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and asset protection to maximize sales and profits
• Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans to improve KPIs and reduce losses
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and corporate standards
