Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support stores by delivering essential products at great values to our communities. You will aid the Store Manager in overall store operations and provide excellent customer service to our shoppers.

Responsibilities include hiring/training, opening/closing in Manager's absence, protecting assets, maintaining clean stockrooms and floors, supervising hourly staff, handling freight, ordering merchandise, and ensuring productivity and policy

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards, including recovery.
• Direct supervision for all hourly Team Members when Store Manager is not on site.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives.
• Assist with receipt/return of DSD merchandise and freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise; maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure daily sales floor effectiveness and follow Store Operations Weekly Bulletin directives.
