Job summary

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep stockroom and sales floor in company standards, including recovery.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members in the Manager's absence.
• Meet productivity standards and assist in merchandise ordering and stocking.
