Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a capable leader to serve as a Key Carrier/Manager on Duty at our Columbus, OH area store. You will guide Associates, ensure store procedures are followed, and coach teams to deliver superior customer service.

Ideal candidates bring retail experience, leadership exposure, and strong communication skills. The role requires flexibility for nights/weekends, with a comprehensive benefits program and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to store policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses customer service issues and coaches Associates
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates priorities and provides progress updates
• Promotes safety awareness and shrink reduction programs
• Other duties as assigned
