Job summary

Five Below in Grapevine, TX seeks an energetic manager on duty to lead store operations, guest experience, and team performance. This hourly role focuses on opening/closing, cash handling, training crew, and delivering WOW customer service.

You will oversee daily activities, ensure merchandise is stocked, assist with onboarding, and partner with leadership on merchandising and cost control. Flexible schedule required; 18+ with 1 year management preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking; ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew provide WOW customer service and train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of store associates and ensure performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, cash, alarms, and daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including garbage, cleaning, and stock room upkeep.
