Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager - Sales Floor for the Saltillo, MS store. You will work under the Store Manager to lead the donor flow, train staff, and supervise daily retail operations to achieve profitability and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include hiring/training, payroll scheduling, inventory handling, loss prevention, and reporting. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and basic computer skills, with in-store flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a business (retail) setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee donor door, donation production and training of team members under Store Manager.
• Ensure 100% world-class customer service and open/close store as required.
• Hire, train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members per policies.
• Manage donations processing, labor payroll, and store budgets within policy.
• Maintain store image, maintenance, loss prevention and security.
• Prepare reports (End of Day, Unprocessed, donor counts) and schedule staff in ADP.
• Coordinate purchasing, supplies, safety inspections, and team meetings.
