Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley and Northern Nevada, Inc. seeks an Assistant Retail Store Manager to work under the Store Manager and Regional Manager. You will help maximize donations processing, pricing, and sales while supporting efficient store operations.

This role is a training path toward Store Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining an inviting floor, ensuring safe, clean conditions, and leading staff to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in retail with one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of processing and separation of donations and salvage goods.
• Ensure that store maximizes used goods processing and pricing.
• Maintain proper stock rotation, display, signage, and inventory levels.
• Provide quality customer service to shoppers, donors, and employees.
• Assist in opening/closing assigned store as scheduled.
