Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mississippi in Jackson, MS seeks a Retail Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations and drive sales. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or at least 1 year of management experience in retail/food services, or manufacturing.
• NRF Certification required within one year of job acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales quota by maximizing production and sales from store operations.
• Act in the absence of the Retail Store Manager to manage all store activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supervise donation processing, pricing, and merchandising to support sales and operations.
• Attend loss prevention and safety meetings and promote a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Ensure accurate banking procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions; promote Roundup donations.
• Perform personnel functions including scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and training.
