Family Dollar in Spring Lake, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and develop a high-performing team. You will support merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, maintain a clean and safe environment, and supervise associates with an emphasis on scheduling and payroll accuracy.

Strong communication and customer service skills are required, along with the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced retail

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
