Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with daily activities, supervise associates, and help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming store while upholding company policies.

The role emphasizes clear communication, training of staff, and maintaining inventory accuracy and visual standards to maximize promotional impact and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat, stocked store and safe store areas.
• Protect company assets including cash.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
