Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise flow, front-end displays, and ensure store standards are met.

The role involves helping with payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. Ideal candidates have store management experience in retail or grocery, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
