Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure the store runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include merchandise handling, opening/closing duties, payroll and scheduling tasks, and maintaining clean, organized areas. You will supervise and train Store Associates while fostering a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, and handle record keeping.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash and security.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety guidelines.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
