Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive customer service excellence, and contribute to team development. You will assist with open/close, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets and follow safety guidelines.
