Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the General Manager with daily store operations, upholding policy and customer service standards. The ASM will help supervise staff, manage cash handling, inventory, and ensure store cleanliness and safety while supporting promotional initiatives.

With 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred, this role requires flexibility in hours, reliable transportation, and a strong focus on team development and guest service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for operational standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assist in investigations of shortages/overages up to $100 per month and inventory variations ≤0.5% of sales.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
