Job summary

Goodwill-Easter-Seals-Miami-Valley-3 is seeking a store supervisor to oversee daily operations, including loading/unloading, textiles processing, and sales activities. You will manage cash handling, banking procedures, and frontline staff to ensure smooth, compliant store performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience in cashiering, stock control, and merchandising, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Safety and customer service excellence are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Knowledge of cash handling, banking procedures, and stock control.
• Experience with merchandising and store display.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with managing budgeted sales and expenses.
• Operate cash register accurately and handle cash, checks, receipts, returns, discounts, and cards.
• Performs banking procedures, including reconciliation of Daily Business Statements and deposit slips.
• Trains and supervises store employees in retail procedures.
• Display and model excellent customer service.
• Ensures store is maintained in accordance with company policies on housekeeping, safety and security.
• Performs stocking, display, and inventory duties.
• Perform merchandise ordering as assigned, to include processing requests to transportation.
• Follows the dress code as set by Goodwill and sets a professional example for employees.
• Embrace the empowerment and continuous improvement culture in our agency.
• Assist store manager with equal opportunity employment efforts and prevent harassment.
• Provide own transportation and adequate liability insurance for such.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards and ensure safety training.
