Job summary

Burlington Stores in California is seeking an experienced Operations Service Manager to lead the store team, drive efficient store operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will model Burlington's core values, build strong teams, and coach a group of Cashiers, Customer Service Supervisors, and Receiving staff while managing day-to-day processes.

In this role you will direct the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensure policy compliance, oversee receiving and inventory accuracy,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a large or multi-unit retail organization.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance with policies, safeguarding company funds, and inventory.
• Guide Customer Service Supervisors to meet service expectations and ensure smooth registers.
• Manage the execution of store operations and receiving SOPs.
• Oversee the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks, and partner with Receiving Supervisor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, leading by example and driving store results.
• Support the Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management.
