Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to supervise daily store activities, help drive performance, manage schedules, and develop operational plans while identifying training opportunities for team growth.

This full-time position offers 38 hours per week, starting wage of $25.00 per hour with a Year 2 increase to $26.00 per hour. ALDI provides competitive wages and benefits to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports
• Model company core values and foster teamwork
• Monitor competition and suggest adjustments
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
• Communicate weekly updates and milestones
• Ensure adherence to inventory, handling, and cash policies
• Resolve customer concerns in leadership's absence
• Identify hazards and maintain equipment in good order
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage
• Maintain stock levels and order products
• Merchandise to maximize sales
• Ensure product quality and signage accuracy
• Assist with payroll, loss budgets, inventories, and training
• Supervise day-to-day team operations
• Ensure timely completion of responsibilities and customer service
• Comply with company policies and protect confidential data
