Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Locust Grove, GA is seeking an Associate Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, profitability, and store appearance. You will supervise daily operations, coach team members, and implement company policies to deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to train staff, and collaboration with district and store leadership to optimize schedules, payroll, and safety across the delivery fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete Assistant Manager Certification and related trainings.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to read and interpret characters quickly.
• Spanish language skills desirable; ASE Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wholesale or retail operations of the store and team members involved.
• Oversee work performed by all store staff assigned to store/HUB store.
• Assist in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging staff.
• Communicate company information to all store team members.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations; recommend pay increases.
• Ensure ongoing training on policies, customer service, computer operations, catalogs, sales and safety.
• May schedule weekly customer calls.
• Support Store Manager in store operations including accounting, daily reports, inventory control.
• Oversee store/vehicle maintenance and appearance of delivery fleet; maintain vehicle records.
• Maintain neat, clean, and organized store/HUB store; manage scheduling and payroll.
• Utilize installer pricing to manage gross profit while maximizing sales.
• Monitor commercial returns for core and warranty issues.
• Review price matches and overrides for proper use.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store, district, or regional manager.
• Coordinate and oversee city route schedules and HUB store deliveries.
• Ensure staffing coverage and safety for staff and drivers.
• Support training across areas with the assistant management team.
