Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Associate Manager to assist the Store Manager with sales, profitability, appearance and overall operations of the store. You will supervise wholesale or retail operations and work with the District Manager and Store Manager on staffing, evaluations, and training.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized store, managing payroll, scheduling, and driving high customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED plus completion of Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, Manager Development Program, and Installer Service Specialist.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetic characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred) and ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise either wholesale or retail operations of the store and team members involved.
• Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, promote, discipline, and discharge team members with district/store leadership.
• Communicate company information to all store team members.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
