Job summary

Belk in DeLand, FL is seeking a Support Flex Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries and preparing new merchandise for the floor. This hourly role supports floor sets, inventory tasks, and back-of-house organization while collaborating with merchandising and store fulfillment teams.

Qualifications

• Dedication to customer service and achieving store objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable with smartphones, tablets, and Windows operating systems.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to move around store areas and assist customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from deliveries and prepare products for the sales floor.
• Complete sensor tag application, transfers, damages, and RFID tasks.
• Assist with facilities processes, lighting, work orders, and housekeeping.
• Support floor sets, product presentations, price changes, and order picking/packing.
• Maintain daily operational standards and organize tools and supplies.
• Support store recovery and ensure cleanliness to promote efficiency.
