Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for reports to improve performance.
• Models company values and fosters teamwork among employees.
• Monitors the local market and informs leadership of adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Provides product feedback and recommends items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviews for store personnel.
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage.
• Supports stock levels and product ordering.
• Merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Ensures product quality and accurate signage.
• Aids in payroll and loss control efforts and training new staff.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and escalates issues as needed.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned tasks to deliver excellent customer service.
