Job summary

True North is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, including hiring, training, and scheduling team members. This role provides leadership through clear direction, goal setting, and feedback to ensure a fast, friendly guest experience.

The Assistant Manager will manage staffing levels, inventory, labor, cash controls, and maintenance needs while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or cashier experience.
• Previous experience supervising others is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide active floor leadership during shifts and support teammates.
• Deliver prompt, courteous customer service.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store.
• Perform food service tasks following safety standards.
• Recruit and train new team members as needed.
• Act as manager-on-duty during shifts and guide staff.
