Job summary

BFS Foods in Clarksburg, WV is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations under the General Manager. You will lead in program execution, product implementation and ensure store efficiencies, inventory control, and food service quality.

Responsibilities include scheduling, ordering/receiving, merchandising, sanitation, and cost control, with emphasis on customer service and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Manages store operations under General Manager guidance; oversees program execution, product implementation, and store efficiency.
• Oversees inventory control, ordering, receiving and rotation of products; ensures foodservice quality and sanitation schedules.
• Schedules tasks and assigns shifts to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to labor guidelines.
• Assists in product ordering and adjust build-to’s; ensures proper temperatures and quality in received goods.
• Maintains merchandising standards, signage, pricing, and promotional awareness across store areas.
• Performs weekly/monthly inventories; assists with cost control and financial accuracy.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation standards and health inspections; upholds wash hand/glove policies.
• Prepares invoices, cash handling checks, and bank deposits; transmits information to home office.
• Supports store team development by coaching employees and participating in performance discussions.
