Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas, seeks a Store Operations Manager to lead staff across multiple departments, uphold product quality, safety and inventory control, and drive sales with strong leadership.

You will plan merchandising, supervise scheduling, training, and coaching, ensure compliance with company standards, and foster exceptional customer service while managing expenses and profitability.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field and 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
• HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of starting.
• Tobacco/Alcohol certification (TABC/LACT/AAB) within 2 weeks of starting.
• Manager Food Safety certification within 2 weeks.
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification within 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan, assign and direct work; manage performance.
• Review historical data to predict sales; manage inventory and control losses.
• Maintain sales, cash flow, product quality, safety and customer service standards.
• Open/close the store; ensure staffing, safety and fiscal management of cash assets.
• Oversee pricing, signage, backroom organization, and DSD duties.
• Lead safety processes, perform inspections, and manage safety supplies.
