Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Department Manager in Tyler, TX to drive sales and profits while leading department teammates. You will ensure product quality, food safety, and compliant displays, with responsibility for scheduling, training and performance management.

In this role you’ll handle inventory, analyze trends, and support customer service initiatives to build sales and store standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be 18+ to work; 21+ to drive for company business when required.
• Required certifications include Food Handler, Manager Food Safety, AML, HIPAA.
• Additional certifications may be required where applicable (TABC/LACT/AATC).

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan and direct work.
• Review sales data, manage inventory and ensure in-stock levels.
• Maintain product quality, safety standards and displays.
• Supervise staff, resolve issues, and ensure customer service excellence.
• Open/close store operations and ensure cash safety and accuracy.
