Job summary

FiveStar is seeking a Floating General Manager to oversee daily store operations in the absence of a permanent GM. You will partner with the management team to ensure excellent customer service, proper merchandising, inventory control, and adherence to company policies.

The role requires strong leadership, at least 1 year in retail management, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for varied shifts and travel to multiple FiveStar locations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years retail management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations in the absence of a General Manager.
• Partner with FiveStar team to deliver excellent service per policy.
• Train store team and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage merchandising, inventory levels and pricing signage.
• Review P&L statements and implement steps to improve performance.
• Ensure labor budget compliance and safety guidelines.
