FiveStar is seeking a Floating General Manager in Crestwood, KY, to oversee day-to-day store operations in the absence of a permanent General Manager. Responsibilities include managing staff, training, merchandising, P&L review, and ensuring food service quality and safety.

You will travel between FiveStar locations as needed, work varied shifts, and uphold company policies and customer service excellence. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of retail management experience or equivalent educational background.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Proficient in customer service, management, and food service responsibilities and is hands-on in daily operations.
• Partner with FiveStar team to provide customers with service as outlined by the company’s policies.
• Ensure timely and thorough training of store team.
• Address issues at store level to assure long-term problem resolution.
• Educate store team and follow up on policies and communications.
• Merchandising and ensuring adequate inventory levels (evaluate displays, pricing, promotional signage, out of stocks).
• Promote the FiveStar treatment (friendly atmosphere, customer’s needs met, suggestive selling).
• Ensure inventory control methods are in place, equipment is in good condition, adequate staffing, following labor budget, completing accounting and paperwork tasks timely, and safety and robbery prevention guidelines in place.
• Oversee food operation, evaluating appearance of food service areas, food quality, tracking, promotions, signage, and following food service guidelines.
• Review P&L statements and implement changes to improve store performance.
