Job summary

Roses Express in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to support the Store Manager in delivering outstanding customer service and driving store performance. You will help lead the team, manage daily operations, and ensure assets and merchandise are properly handled and stocked.

You will participate in hiring, training, and developing staff, oversee opening/closing, and maintain a safe, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a high energy, team environment.
• Flexible, full-time or part-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Support Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Maintain professional, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure stockroom and sales floor meet company standards and recovery.
• Direct hourly Team Members in Store Manager's absence.
