Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Operations to drive efficient store operations, inventory management, scheduling, and front- and back-of-house standards. You will mentor associates and partner with the Store Leader to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload with Store Leader to ensure execution of plans across the store.
• Align with management on store goals and communicate company initiatives to staff.
• Establish and communicate metrics and expectations (sales, operations, safety, LPD, HR, payroll, training).
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for sales, productivity and budget impact.
• Drive sales and act as Leader on Duty (LOD) to promote performance.
• Communicate with management about sales, customer feedback and associate training/performance; conduct weekly walk-throughs.
• Collaborate to promote customer experience and teamwork, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Coach and develop associates to enable growth and build bench strength.
• Provide gracious, quick, and efficient service to customers; model positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
