Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Good judgment solving problems, making decisions, handling complaints, arbitrating disputes and resolving grievances.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates throughout multiple departments.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend company provided training and have the ability to achieve accreditation within the first 90 days of employment.

• Ensure control of store funds and assets.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions to protect people.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards.
• Utilize financial reports, inventory systems, scheduling, and ordering tools.
• Support achievement of store budgeted results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent.
• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day operations of the store.
• Model excellent customer service and lead by example.
