Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Good judgment solving problems and making decisions.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across departments.
• Must meet physical requirements and minimum age.
• CFSM accreditation or ability to achieve within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary efforts.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Guiding Principles and Core Values.
• Maintain enthusiastic customer service and fast, easy service.
• Ensure proper control of store funds and assets.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and ensure safety standards.
• Utilize company tools like financial reports, ACIS, CAO, and scheduling.
• Support achievement of store budgets and financial results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is absent.
• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
