Job summary

Food Lion in Mint Hill, NC is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, hire and train associates, and drive financial and sales results. You will uphold Food Lion's guiding principles, ensure safety, and manage performance through coaching and disciplined execution.

You will influence customer service, shrink control, and inventory processes across departments, while maintaining compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend company provided training and have the ability to achieve accreditation within the first 90 days of employment.

• Serve as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is absent.
• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations across the store.
• Model excellent customer service and adherence to standard practices.
