ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Texas. You will assist with supervising daily activities, drive store performance, and manage schedules. Develop operational plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

The role is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week and starts at $25.50 per hour, with a wage increase to $26.50 in Year 2. You will help maintain inventory, customer service, and store standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years in a retail environment with progressive responsibilities.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to improve performance.
• Model company values to foster teamwork and engagement.
• Monitor competition and adjust as needed to stay competitive.
• Provide feedback on products and make stocking recommendations.
• Participate in interviewing for store personnel.
• Ensure cash handling, inventory, and signage policies are followed.
• Resolve customer concerns in the absence of leadership.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage.
• Assist with stock levels and product ordering.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales.
• Assist with payroll and loss control targets.
• Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of responsibilities with high customer service.
