ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations, supervise staff, and drive overall store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role manages work schedules, develops operational action plans, identifies training opportunities, ensures inventory accuracy and policy compliance, and upholds ALDI values while delivering excellent customer service. Starting wage is $26.50 per hour for a 38-hour work week, with a wage increase to $27.50 in year two.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Communicate roles and performance expectations to team members
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance
• Model ALDI core values to foster teamwork
• Monitor local competitive environment and advise on adjustments
• Provide product feedback and merchandising recommendations
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
• Ensure inventory, cash handling, and signage policies are followed
• Resolve customer concerns in leadership's absence
• Maintain store cleanliness and equipment
• Assist with stock levels and payroll targets
• Supervise day-to-day team activities
• Comply with company policies and data security
• Other duties as assigned
