Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Service Manager in Riverside, CA to lead store operations, coach Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, and ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

You’ll model Burlington’s core values and drive results through your team. The role requires 3+ years in retail management, flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or medium to large-sized, multi-unit retail organization.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with scheduling and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of company funds and property, asset protection, sales, and record keeping procedures.
• Provide guidance to the Customer Service Supervisors to ensure they meet customer service expectations and there is smooth customer flow at the registers.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the overall receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks and partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD); setting the leadership example for customers, associates, and driving results in the store.
• Support the Store Manager and others in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in the management of other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the District and Regional Management teams.
