Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Operations Service Manager in Washington (Bellingham). You will lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, drive policy compliance, and oversee store operations and receiving processes to ensure accurate inventory and excellent service.

As MOD and a principal in the store, you will coach and develop staff, participate in staffing and training, and collaborate with district and regional leadership to achieve sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or large multi-unit retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance, safeguarding assets, and accurate record-keeping.
• Guide Customer Service Supervisors to meet service expectations and maintain smooth register flow.
• Oversee overall operations and receiving SOPs.
• Manage the receiving process (transfers, debits, damages, chargebacks) and coordinate with Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to lead by example for customers and associates and drive store results.
• Support Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in other store operations areas as needed and communicate with District/Regional teams.
