Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a capable store leadership professional in Dillon, CO to oversee operations in the store manager’s absence. You will drive merchandising initiatives, manage budgets, and coach department managers to sustain top customer service and store performance.

You will lead teams through planning and execution, analyze KPIs, and collaborate across departments to deliver sales goals while minimizing shrink and enhancing safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve service, operational, and business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrated experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities and support business decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering favorable customer shopping experiences and develop associate interest in customer service/relations.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Support action plans and communications to associates based on survey results.
• Identify opportunities with department heads and create timely solutions and action plans for plan implementation.
• Role model high levels of customer service and resolve issues/concerns.
• Oversee total store operations in the store manager's absence.
• Aim for weekly, period, and annual sales, wage budgets and profit budgets; monitor safety and shrink.
