Job summary

Trulieve, a leader in the retail cannabis sector, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in store leadership, inventory control, and daily operations. You will guide team performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and help meet sales and service targets.

The role requires experience in management, cash handling, and strong communication with staff and customers. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, with potential for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to train, develop and evaluate a 40+ member team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism; maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in conversational English to work with customers and staff; operate basic office equipment.
• Ability to analyze data to inform policies and procedures.
• Able to interact with customers and team members respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and sales results.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state regulations.
• Communicate and enforce company SOPs and relay changes to employees.
• Coach, train and develop the team to meet service standards and objectives.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory.
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty.
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners.
• Assist in managing the labor budget to meet business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
