Job summary

Trulieve, a national cannabis retailer, seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leadership of store personnel, inventory tracking, and achieving KPIs while delivering compliant daily operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; confidentiality and discretion.
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members; operate electronic equipment and understand safety procedures.
• Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and work with the general manager and other leaders to assure changes are communicated to employees
• Coach, train, and develop the team to meet company service standards and objectives
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Handle patient issues and escalations when on duty
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners
• Assist the General Manager in managing labor budget to meet business needs
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
