Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is hiring a store associate to support management and deliver an excellent customer experience. You will interact with customers, maintain a clean store, and assist with daily cash office tasks and onboarding new Associates.

Requirements include 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in a leadership-like capacity, plus strong communication and organization. The schedule includes nights and weekends, with a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changes in direction or situations.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in the hiring process (scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, etc.) and onboarding of new Associates
• Maintains Associate personnel files
• Performs daily cash office functions and maintains cash office standards
• Supports Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory and requisition
• Maintains proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
