Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations in Pflugerville, TX. You will guide staff, ensure policy compliance, and drive sales, service and operational objectives.

Responsibilities include supervising safety, training associates, managing POS transactions, merchandising, inventory, payroll, and loss prevention while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience. Maintain and reinforce current service level standards. Provide service training and leadership to staff members. Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customer.
• All POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure; Sales, Discounts and Refunds; Loyalty; Open/Closing procedures.
• Inventory control responsibilities to include adherence to policies and procedures for shipping and receiving, price management, singles, damaged merchandise, and conducting a physical inventory.
• Sales floor merchandising and visual presentation responsibilities to include adherence to company standards: merchandise placement, sales floor maintenance and housekeeping, promotional event directions, materials and signage.
• Payroll control responsibilities to include adherence to scheduling, payroll budget compliance, and time & attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports, adherence to policies and procedures, utilization of training tools, and reinforcement of customer service standards.
• Loss prevention responsibilities to include adherence to policies and procedures for protection and control of company assets.
• Work towards a complete understanding of managing all day to day operations.
