Job summary

Rack Room Shoes seeks a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, provide guidance and training to staff, and support the Store Manager. In their absence, the Team Lead assumes full responsibility and works to meet sales, service and operational goals.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, delivering excellent customer service, managing POS, inventory, price changes, merchandising, scheduling, payroll and training, with a focus on loss prevention and smooth store performance.

Responsibilities

• Safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and service levels.
• Process POS transactions, sales, discounts and refunds per policy.
• Inventory control including shipping/receiving, price changes and markdowns.
• Merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Payroll control including scheduling and attendance.
• Training and development of staff and adherence to policies.
• Loss prevention and protection of company assets.
• Develop understanding of day-to-day operations.
