Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Walton Beach, FL to support store performance and oversee day-to-day activities. The role includes scheduling, supervising staff, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

The position is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $25.00 per hour, increasing to $26.00 per hour in Year 2. Full-time benefits are included as listed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Model ALDI core values to foster teamwork.
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments.
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly information and major milestones.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
• Resolve store operations issues in the absence of the direct leader.
• Identify and rectify hazards and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels and merchandising.
• Ensure product quality and signage accuracy.
• Assist with payroll, loss prevention, and training.
• Supervise day-to-day team operations.
• Ensure timely completion of responsibilities to deliver customer service.
• Follow all company policies and data security.
