The role emphasizes training, customer service, inventory control, and adherence to company standards. Starting wage is $26.00 per hour with a planned increase to $27.00 in year two, based on performance and company policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
• Prior management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs leadership of adjustments to maintain competitive position
• Participates in interviewing store personnel
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling and cash control policies are followed
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage
• Maintains stock levels through product ordering
