Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Manager to join the store leadership team. The role focuses on operational strategy, inventory management, labor planning, and ensuring the store is customer-ready at all times.

You will lead a team to uphold operational standards, optimize processes, and partner with leadership to meet budgets and performance metrics while promoting ALO’s guiding principles across the store.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Agile mindset with ability to multitask in a changing environment.
• Independent work ethic with strong time management.
• Aligns with ALO Guiding Principles.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store.
• Ability to lift, push, carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of key operational processes.
• Investigate inventory accuracy issues and partner to address gaps.
• Champion operational standards on the sales floor using performance data.
• Support sell-through by ensuring inventory accuracy and coordinating labor for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Represent the business in meetings with General Manager and budget review.
• Plan and manage staffing in alignment with business needs.
• Lead the Operations team with accountability, coaching, talent development and communication.
• Develop scheduling in partnership with the General Manager and ensure alignment with strategy.
