Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager in daily operations. You will supervise staff, handle scheduling, and ensure compliance with agency policies while driving sales of new and donated items.

You will contribute to training, safety procedures, and effective cash handling, banking, and paperwork processes. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential to support a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have both sales and cashier experience with sufficient knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures to handle daily store operations.
• College education preferred; experience may be substituted for education.
• Some retail sales management experience and several years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in scheduling employees and supervise store personnel in accordance with agency policies.
• Instruct and enforce store safety and security procedures.
• Engage in personal sales and assist customers in the store.
• Receive and check inventory, donations, and stock transfers and place items in proper fixtures.
• Ensure staff use correct sales procedures and methods.
• Support daily administrative tasks, cash transactions, bank deposits, and ordering of supplies.
• Maintain store records and analyze sales receipts to improve efficiency.
• Train store personnel per guidelines and procedures.
