Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a shift lead responsible for directing daily operations onsite. The role emphasizes maintaining high customer service levels, supervising associates, and ensuring cashier and POS procedures are followed during assigned shifts.

You will schedule staff, coach for productivity, and uphold store readiness and safety standards. Availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to cover all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of First Aid and safety.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to drive ESGWND vehicle or personal vehicle on company business.
• Comfort working in an environment with odors, dust and temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to read and follow written, oral or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise associates during assigned shifts.
• Ensure consistent customer service standards on the floor and at POS.
• Manage POS opening/closing and cash controls including banking.
• Deploy staff effectively to meet service and productivity needs.
• Coach associates on service, productivity and standards.
• Maintain store readiness, safety and visual standards during shifts.
• Open and/or close the store as a key holder.
• Manage schedules and breaks during assigned shifts.
