Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead – Part Time to support storefront operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage opening/closing, training, task delegation, and frontline processes while upholding company standards for safety and ethics.

This role requires lifting, stocking, and moving merchandise in a warehouse-format store. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, leads with integrity, and can balance multiple tasks with urgency to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be completed.
• Clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. to move merchandise.
• Proficient use of hands and arms; able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, climb, reach; work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in standards and processes.
• Reliable and ethical role model with integrity.
• Create urgency, promote teamwork, delegate, and motivate the team.
• Ability to train, develop, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and creative with the ability to handle shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store operations and Front-End processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing and adhere to labor standards and policies.
• Plan and assign daily/weekly tasks to achieve store, department, and sales goals.
• Support inventory control, safety, loss prevention, and customer experience for profitability.
• Drive productivity through training, coaching, and performance appraisals.
• Lead daily team huddles to communicate and reinforce customer experience initiatives.
• Participate in freight processes for incoming shipments and transitions.
• Process freight, stock shelves, down stocking, and maintain neat, organized store.
• Perform other duties as needed by business needs.
• Open availability for nights and weekends.
